Please help identify plants in our aquarium.

The green sword plants look like Narrow Leaf Amazon Swords, once they get bigger, there's not much difference at all from a regular Amazon sword, at least from the experience I have had with them. Looks like you have a few different green amazon swords in your tank.
I don't think that the far left one is a Bar sword, might be a Red Rubin Sword

Nice selection of plants you got there :thm:

Thanks, I'll check it out.

The left sword is definitely not a Kleiner bar sword. Bar swords have much wider leaves than that. Looks like there's some Bacopa all the way in the back right below the end of the spray bar. You may have to start trimming sooner than you think ;)

Ok, I managed to find all the plants (thanks for all the help) except for the following;

Any additional assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Wow, we are amazed at how fast some of the plants are growing.

Day 8.

Very nice tank. Like the drop check on the side. I really want to get one of those as soon as I can find one local. I haven't heard of a "professionally setup" tank except, i guess in doctors' office as such. Interesting idea, but I think I would rather get my hands wet (probably kill a lot more plants using my method, lol.) It really is a nice looking tank, they did a good job with it.

Your tank looks great! I think the pros that helped set it up knew what they were doing.

I'm curious about what the pros recommended for you...

  • What kind of substrate do you have in there? Looks like Flourite Black maybe?
  • What kind of lighting do you have? How many watts?
  • What filtration are you using?
  • What CO2 are you using?
Also, what is the glass ball stuck to the left side of the tank?

And what is the diffuser with the blue tubing on the right? Is that the CO2?

Just curious because I'm planning on doing a heavily planted tank that I would hope to look similar to your tank when I'm done.

Thanks, we are very happy with the results. I consider having the "pro's" setup the aquarium as part of my "planted aquarium education". I had a basic idea, but now I know for sure.

This was not our first planted aquarium, so they really didn't need to recommend anything. The only "tip" was to turn the lights on at 12 noon and off at 10 PM. This allows the plants to "wake up" for a couple of hours before the lights come on. And I gotta tell ya, I have never seen plants photosynthesize like this!! I kid you not, it starts at 1206, and by 6 PM it’s as if we have air stones beneath the substrate!!

The substrate is ADA aqua soil (Amazon) with power sand, Light: Sunlight Supply Tek Light High Output Fluorescent Lighting (432W), Filter: EHEIM Pro 3 External Filter 600W/ EHEIM Media, and CO2 is via a pressurized system.

The glass ball on the left is a Cal Aqua Labs CO2 monitor, and to the right is a diffuser with blue tubing.
