I think you may be right that its not a convict, anyhow - as I search for photos of them, it seems more and more likey that mine ISNT a convict!

So if its a tetra, its ok with an angel fish?
It shows no sign of aggression with any of the fish so far..

Yea, tetra aren't usually agressive. But I dunno about the angelfish thing. I'm not the person to ask about angelfish.

Those go by so many names...The non coloured ones are generally called black skirt tetras or gold skirt tetras.
They are schooling and should be kept in groups of 6 or more as they tend to be nippy, especially if kept by themselves with other types of fish. :dance2:
