We will need some more info before we can help.

What kind of fish is it?
How big of tank do you have?
What are your water prams (pH, Ammonia, Nitirite, Nitrate, Temp)?
What other fish are in the tank?
How long has the tank been setup for?
Has anything new been added in the last few weeks?

Try to answer the above and we can help alittle better.

Its a black Mollie in a 10 gallon tank nitrates and ammonia are o temp is 76 theres another mollie and a pleco in the tank and the tank has been running for 2.5 months and nothing new has been added

Does it look "Fuzzy" like or is it "Smooth" like. How is it acting, does it hide and just sit around or does it swim normal? Does it seem to eat when feeding are given?

Are you sure the NitrAte is 0 as this is not usally possiable with a fully cycled tank?

did you put any marine salt in the water? does it look like it has been "speckled with salt" if so, you might want to add some salt to the water. mollies like brackish conditions and sometimes develop whitish film on their bodies as a result of saltless water.
