The first two are of something that just appeared out of nowhere. It doesn't look like anything because it's body actually matches the coraline that is growing on my rocks. The two pictures show that it does in fact move, albeit slowly.

The third looks like mushrooms, but I don't think they are. They are hard and brittle.

The fourth is just one of the groups that is growing in my tank, quite rapidly I might add. When disturbed, they retract back into their tubes.

yeah, I also heard that chitons will scrape away at the silicone sealant on the glass tanks...... im not sure if it is true though. I would remove it anyways.... The second is a type of corraline algea, which is harmless, and the colonial hydriods will go away if you are doing regular water changes.
