Any sort of mbuna tend to breed pretty easily. I have C. afras that i cannot stop breeding.... i dont even take the babies anymore. Yellow labs, P. saulosi (in my avatar).... you name it if they are mbuna they will breed when mature and happy.


Another african cichlid that is riverine and not rift lake are kribensis... and they breed like rabbits too.

Jewels are very easy.

You might also consider red devils or jaguars if you have the space. I have been able to get them both to spawn, but the key is that they need space. Just buy 4 or 5 of them when they are an inch or two and grow them together. They are almost certain to pair up. Both are good parents too.

IMO the P Zebra is the easiest to breed, they don't care about anything else and you constantly have a tank full of fry running for their life. The bad side is they are easy to breed and you constantly have a tank of fry running for their life. :laugh: I used to go to the LFS with 30 1" fry every few weeks, they told me to stop coming because they had too many.
