I Just Read A Sticky In The Catfish And Bottom Feeders Section. Very Helpful. I Have A 2.5" Pleco That I Just Fed Cucumbers For The First Time And He Seemed To Love It. Check Out That Sticky...

My two bristlenose quit eating algae when they grew to about an inch or inch and a half. They were wee babes when I first got them. Age wise, they are probably about a year old. All either of them eat now are the wafers. I will start experimenting with zucchini soon, though.
Take care,
Mary.

My pleco (and cichlids) love zuccini, can't get enough of it

Pleco alone will eat cucumber, he seems to relish the seeds first then slowly eats the

Nobody in my tank seems to like lettuce, but the cichlids will take shelled peas (a couple before they start to ignore them)

I have heard a few people suggest broccoli, but I haven' tried it yet, maybe if I do the grocery shopping next week I will, the wife would never buy it on her own
