Pleco size

I was curious to know how long it take for a pleco to get full size?

I have a P. Dysjunctivus and he's about 2 years old, but only about 5 inches long and still has his juvenile coloration. Is this normal? How long till he's a monster.

a while. most plecos dont grow too quickly and once they reach a certain length, they slow down considerably. ive got a gibby thats now about 10" and ive had him for about 3 years

Oh good. Cause I have a 55g I want to put him in, and eventually, will probably upgrade to an as-yet-used 110g.

They seem to grow at a steady pace until they reach a certain size where growth slows down. That being said it's always a good idea to give as much space as possible so stunting doesn't even become an issue.
