Pls suggest bio media for filter

i'm still undecided as to which bio media i'll put in my 5 feet filter box.
are ceramic rings good? or bio balls?
what other media can i put thats cheap and effective as ell?

If you want cheap and something you can use without replacing, i would use bioballs...I bought like 1 kilo for 25 bux at my fish store :dance

Bio Balls. Less work, and take up more space. Also add filter floass, and sponges.
