Polyp Problem????

I bought a piece of LR not long ago and it had a few polyps growing on it. I had no problems with any of my fish eating on them. They really were doing well and theyt were multiplying. Now they look as though either something has been eating on them or they have been burned? Any help out there? I don't any real high out put lighting just a power compact light strip.

It could be something eating them, like a predatory snail. It could be the water conditions. It could be the lighting. Hard to say.

How big, and deep, is the tank? How many watts, and what kind, of light? Have you changed anything recently?
