I am in the process of trying to salvage an old pond. The pond is made from river rock and cement. Portions of this pond are over 50 years old. (this is my family home so I know the history)

Anyway, due to the fact that we have been unable to seal it, we've decided to go with pond liner. (I don't know what it's really called.)

We purchased one sheet and placed it in the pond. This area of the pond is rather shallow, and the way the water sits in the pond, on one side the water only goes half way up the wall.

We are trying to figure out what we can do to hide the liner on the far side of the pond.

I'm thinking of buying some kind of rock to stack along the wall on the inside of the pond, but I'm coming up with the problem of what type of rock to buy.

What do you think would look nice, not take up too much room in the pond, and not cost an arm and a leg.

Thanks.

If you can take pictures of what you have, then maybe we can suggest some stuff. If you can get some flat stones, that would look nice.

Perhaps you could devise some shelves in that area out of rock or bricks and put some potted marginal/bog plants in the water along that side that would grow and hide the liner.
