Pond snail the size of a neurite snail????????????

So I have this 15g column set up on my desk at work, it's nice to have, very calming. Over the past few weeks I have been watching my snail population and seeing how they are growing. One sticks out the most however. He is easily and inch long in shell. I was under the impression they stayed very small, but this one is bigger then my neurite snail I have in another tank. Was my information wrong? Or do I just have something very cool?

Haha, I thought it might be a Great Pond Snail, but the shell doesn't look right. The snail itself does though. I've just never had one get this big! Something about this tank!!

Sorry for the delayed reply on this, no the image hasnt been flipped. Does it look flipped? Haha. To Mgamer, i had no idea they would get this big. None of my hundreds of others have gotten anywhere near that larger.
