poor gators

I think it's over 4' that they kill them.

And it's not if they've attacked someone, there was one on animal planet(animal cops) who was wandering(propably going to another pond), and they destroyed it...

One? I've seen them catch & kill 2-3 per episode, occasionally... Besides a large one they put in a tiny cage.

It would be a sad life to grieve over every "insignificant" life you knowingly and inadvertently destroy on a regular basis.

i think their death is fine if it just naturally happens for a good cause but having them killed for either fun or them being annoying just doesn't sound right.

when i have slugs, spiders, ants or anything like that around i either move them away or try to scare them away.

now i could understand it being a hard job to scare away an alligator but there are better ways to get rid of them besides death.

I'm trying to think of one thing an alligator would be scared of.

Yeah, I've seen amny of them be killed on that show.. but they one I'm talking about was wandering across a parking lots at about 1 am I think?
and they captured and kill it..

I've seen them save a few and put them in pens.. not much of a life if you ask me.

Really? Most of the time I've watched that show, they're in small ponds, being "dangerous". Eek, it yawned! Oh no, it's rolling over to sun it's stomach! Watch out! :headshake2:

what makes me mad is that an 8 foot long gator is probaby 60 years old. its lived longer than most of us and a lot harder life, just to be killed. i just cant see how an animal that has lived such a long life could be seen as insignificant
