It's a Canopy 5.25" square porcelain appetizer plate distributed by Wal-Mart.

It doesn't appear to look painted.

Safe to put and leave in aquarium for a really long time ... like, forever?

Thanks,
Rei

I had some left over porcelain tile and decided to make something out of them. I broke them up and made an ugly cave. I discovered broken pocelian is razor sharp by cutting the sh@@ outa a finger. Grinded it all down with my dremmel.

As long as it's not broken it should be okay.

I used porcelain in a tank for about 2 years (until I ended up taking that tank down.) Didn't notice any ill effects but 2 years isn't very long.
