Thanks Ky!! I love lots of lights and very unthemed trees with lots of different decorations.... each having it's own little story, old ones new ones, red ones, blue ones, I love them all thrown out there and used.
I just love the ones that kids have made when they were little! I have some from my 21 year old daughter that she made in preschool. Those are priceless!!!!
that is what the majority of our decorations are...either hand made or hand picked, certainly not glamourous, lol
When she gets married, take the box over to her their first Christmas. Open it up and start asking her if she remembers this one, and this one, etc, complete with appropriate stories, of course. Make sure her husband is there, and watch the looks on her face. My Mother thought THAT was priceless!

I have one with a kindergarten picture in it and she is missing her front four teeth. She keeps begging me not to put it up but it's one of my favorites! I also have one of my now 15 year old daughter when she decided she needed a haircut at the age of four, she was in preschool. Here bangs were about 1/4 inch from her scalp!!

First Christmas in the new house so maybe next year I'll go all out in the front. last picture is Mylo who is pretending he didn't just knock half the ornaments off the tree. :mad2:
