Potassium Test Kit

I have twice asked in posts discussing potassium, but have not gotten an answer. I can not find a potassium test kit, and doubt I have enough in my tank. Are there any? Which do you use? Where do you get it? Or, does everyone just assume none in the tank and dose what they want?

Go for it if you've got the cash. I don't know if it's worth it myself.

I would pass on the Potassium kit.

This element doesn't need to be vitally test unless you are really interested. Generally excess K+ doesn't harm plants and will not cause an algae break. So as long as you are adding some you'll be fine.

So nobody really tests this? You just add what you want in there?

Yup, that's what I do. I haven't read anything yet to suggest that an excess of Potassium has any detrimental effect on plants or encourages algae like other nutrients do. I don't mean to sound ignorant but all I know is that plants need a lot of it and that seems to be all I need to know.
