Hi.
I bought some potted plants, (Amazon Swords,) from the LFS today, yet my limited experience with these types of plants leaves me feeling alone and stupid about them.

I am not sure whether to leave these plants in the pots they came with and bury those in gravel, or whether I should take them out of the aformentioned pots and pot them in the gravel.

Idea's? I feel stupid...

Pot pot pot pot pot...

Welcome to the stupid club.....most of us feel stupid at times....I feel stupid most of the time.
I take the baskets off the plants(more people told me to take them off than told me not to) as this gives the roots a better shot at spreading out than all jammed together. I snip as much of the plasic away as possible in order to do as little damage as possible to the roots. Take the basket off in pieces an plant those puppies. They should do fine.

Shoot Rocketman, but I'm guessing the answer is Elton John.
Maybe you should send a PM....this doesn't really qualify as a fish-related topic.
