Ok i was thinking. Im going to upgrade to a larger tank. When i do my filter isnt going to make barley any current it the tank. So If i get a power head. place it in the back corner i could get a current circling the tank, This in turn whould keep all the lil bit's of floaty garbage circling around until it gets into range of the filters spigot.

Do i have something here? Or am i just wishfull thinking?

Water circulation and getting solid waste up into the water column is almost always a good thing- provided the fish tolerate it. i.e. with Discus I would not want too much flow but pleco's would love it.
What fish will you be housing?

While i understand the benifet of an extra filtration unit. My theory here is to elimimanate the slow moving water on the bottom of the tank. While the flow from the filter provides current. It doesnt effect the bottom tank water that much. With a small powerhead at the bottom. You could get some nice looping current at the bottom. I dont mean to turn it high enough to have a real effect on the fish just enough to get a circulation at the bottom of the tank to keep stuff from sitting on the bottom, And carried around in the current until it gets to the filter spigot.

I had the same prob in my 55. I have my power filter off to the right side of the tank, so it created a current in that half of the tank. I added a power head into the back left corner of the tank to direct the water towards the filter. I noticed clearer water and less "stuff" in the tank all together. The one that I bought has a foam filter attatchment. It's not much, but it filters out a bit of suspended particles. It's made by Zoo-Med and the water outlet actually rotates back and forth and the speed is adjustable. I'm happy with it.
