yesterday i installed a maxi jet 400 power head on my 10g
the temp was 78 (no heater in tank) tonight the temp is 84! is it the power head? are they known to make tanks hot?
there is another possible cause, my lighting, i just bought new bulbs yesterday to fit in an incadescent fixture. they are coral life 50/50 10w flourescent bulbs, there are 2 of them. could it be these bulbs?
my tank has only 15lbs of live rock, no inhabitants. but i when i shut the light i noticed these tiny whitish fast moving "bugs" zip in and out of pin sized holes in the rock, what are these? can they handle this high heat? or will my live rock and its goodies suffer?
