Do I need a powerhead in my 29g GSP tank? I currently have an Aquaclear 70, 150w heater and an airstone and pump.

Mine like to play in the power head, and if you position it right, it will keep stuff from settling on the bottom and increase the efficiency of the filter.
I don't have a powerhead in my 30 gallon GSP tank. Milton just likes to "surf" in the flow from the filter. You could always put one in there and see if he likes it or not, he might love swimming in the current.
