Anyone got any suggestions on this? I haven't seen too much on this site about the manufacturer's of powerheads. Anyone have a favorite brand?

I have used Hagen (Aquaclear) and Powersweep (dont know if that is the manufacturer or not) with not any problems.
I like the powersweep because it rotates - a nice function I think. THis is shut off with the lights so it has a lot of ON/OFF action.

Ive had problems with powersweeps vibrating. It was so rediculous i took them out, and dont even use them.
I have not yet had that problem - when did they start vibrating age wise??? Mine is about 1.5 years old that has been used ON/OFF with the lights.
Wonder if I will get the vibrating problem - grrr.

I like penguins, in part b/c of the RFUG filter option. Check DIY Forum...that's where products are generally discussed.
