Ok, When livebearers are pregant, their skin is stretched to hold the babies right?

Because i have a marble molly that i think is prego. She has an all white spot (with a couple of black specks) Near her vent and below her gills. Does that mean she is pregnant?

I think i know mine is pregnant because i saw last time ihad a molly how skinny it is when it just had the babies. lol.

So the female is supposed to look boxy right? Do you remember how your female looks when pregnant?

Sorry for asking so many questions! I just dont want to miss it giving birth...lol. Its really important to me :-)

Thanks for any and all suggestion/comments.

re

mine just gave birth a few days ago and it was huge and boxy for a few days before and after. make sure that you have a breeder tank ready for the babies for as u might know they eat their young. also have some liquid baby food(livebrearer formula) on hand as well as a place to sell them to if you can't keep them all

hope this helps and good luck new@this

i love mollies

I absolutly love mollies. I'm getting some here soon so excited. Mine always had babies. She gets fat is all I can tell ya. I just kinda new. She got huge. Just make sure you seperate the babies from everything else. Make sure they can't get out and nothing can get to them. Mistake on my part the first couple times. Mom ate them. :(

mine never ate there babies but u mught want to be safer that sorrie. Females do get fat and depending on how old they are they can have 30-100 babies. you DONOT have to go buy the expensive baby foods. take some flake food in a ziplock bag and crush it into powder. the baby tank should be bare bottom because it easier to clean the dead ones out. my last molly batch from almost 4 maybe 5 months ago there are only 4 babies left.

KIT i want to know how it goes
