Today my BIL (!) surprised my kids with this
http://www.brookstone.com/Frog-O-Sphere-frogs.html
They lived at his moms house and one was for my niece and the other for her cousin. I am sure that that is much to small for two frogs and a snail.
Should I pop them in the tank with my goldies or keep tabs on the water keep them in a small one until I can get a 2 or 3 gal tank?

I think the snail would be fine with the goldies, but the frogs might be nibbled on...

I would leave the frogs in the bowl, and just make getting a bigger tank a priority. If it were me, I would be tempted to get a 10 gallon tank. Then you could have some other stuff in with them! Maybe a little school of chili rasboras and a couple of honey gouramis.

They came with pellets but I do have frozen brine shrimp should I be feeding that to them instead and how often

In my experience with ADF's blood worms are a good option. They dont see well and are clumsy eaters. Mine will bite at the food, but he bites so hard he propels himself backwards and barely gets the little wormy. He went crazy for live tubifex. But frozen bloodworms work really well. Brine shrimp are more fiber than protein and bloodworms are a little more protein. If you can find a pellet of a decent quality that they will eat I am sure it would not be a problem. Bloodworms get my vote though as far as food.
They will definitely need a filter, water circulation at least an airstone. If you keep them in the bowl for longer I would say daily water changes. The larger the tank the harder to see them, but they are adorable swimming to the top in a 10g or larger. IMO the smallest would be a 5gal, anything smaller is hard to get stable water conditions.
Chances are the goldies will try to eat them, depending on the size of both species. I would recommend a separate tank, particularly due to the fact that ADF's do better in tropical water conditions.
Lots of hiding spaces are your best bet for seeing them often, as well as low current.

The ADFs will def need a bigger tank. Most people who keep them tell me 10g per adult frog. I keep African clawed Frogs which is a little different but mostly the same except for size and dwarfs have webbed front feet where my clawed frogs have unwebbed little hands. Most of my friends and the people I know who breed aquatic frogs suggest keeping a good pellet as their diet for the first year with occasional treats of blood worms etc. Aquatic frogs are pretty hearty but goldfish WILL eat them if they can fit them in their mouths and the frogs will nibble on fish fins. They produce a good bit of waste so like tifftastic said, you will need a filter. I personally like to use whisper filter and I avoid the airstones since aquatic frogs are super sensitive to vibration in the water, but a lot of people are totally successful with keeping them with airstones, so thats just my personal preference. I think thats pretty much all the advice I have, and Im not sure I said anything these guys didnt already tell you ;). Good luck to you. - Ash

Alrighty then. A few more things because sometimes the LFS in my area can't really tell me much and I don't want them to scam me on stuff I don't need for them.

They are about 1.5 inches if they extend their body, eyes seem clear and no sores or anything. Can't get a good picture because I don't want to use a flash on the animals. And I don't know how old they are. They have had these for awhile because I remember my sister saying my niece (4 yrs) didn't like them months ago.

Okay bloodworms are good, how often?
Tank at least 5-10 gal.
Whisper filters are good, what is the $$?
Will they need a water heater then? And what temp will I need to keep it at.
Is gravel a must have? If they don't should I put they gravel in their box in a nylon to keep the biofilter? Or just get some gravel and mix it in with what they have?
And any other tips for these guys. My kids have fallen in love with them more so than my fish.
Thanks.

I am glad you are willing to do what you need to take care of them!

For the tank, I would just pick up a 5 or 10 gallon kit. That should come with the heater, filter, and all that jazz. I have bought this stuff seperately before, and trust me, the kits save money. It will probably cost 30-50$.

Set the heater for around 77 degrees F. I would get a pair of tweezers to feed them bloodworms. It is easier for them to find them if you wave it in front of them first! Plus, it is fun to do. You could also use a small pipette.

Gravel is not necessary. If you don't like it, you can go bare bottom. Or you can get a different color of gravel. Since the bowl is not cycled, you can just chuck what is in there if you don't want it.

I would go with a 10 gallon tank, personally. That way, you can add some little microfish, and have a great little community.

Until you get them in a proper tank, do daily water changes on them, as much water as you can.

How often do they need to be feed. I am sure two pellets per frog twice a week isn't enough.

Well I went to my LFS, but forgot to get some stuff after the LFS didn't have 5 gal in our price range (new filters for my goldies, frozen bloodworms). But we had to run to walmart and they had one. I got that and a little can of freeze dried bloodworms they loved them.
