So does prime effectively remove copper or at least neutralize it?

So I bought a API copper test kit, I can't tell if I have copper...here are some pics.

So if I do have copper, how do I get rid of it?

Liquid looks clear in the pic which would indicate no copper. I don't think prime does anything for copper.

The API super strength water conditioner claims to remove it

Ok I'll check into that thanks glabe.

I thought I read on safe start and prime it removes or neutralizes it...but I was hoping someone knew for certain.

The copper level in most water systems isn't high enough to cause most people, problems.
The sure way to guarantee it's not present is to use RO water or a copper adsorbing compound such as Poly BioMarine's Poly Filter.
Presuming the color on your photo is accurate, you don't have enough, or any, to worry about. Worry about other issues such as mineralization.

seachem cuprisorb, removes copper.

we have copper leaching in to our water from old pipes and without the cuprisorb all our shrimp die pretty horrible deaths

I am sooo happy right now! I just bought a 75 gallon tank brand new for a hundred bucks! And once I test drive one ghost shrimp, and determine the toxicity, gonna buy 20 rcs's for the 30 breeder.
