Prime conditioner

I got this in hopes it might help my tank out. My question is, how do you use it for smaller jugs of water or do you add it directly to the tank after the WC?

Im testing one of my jugs now...i think they are about 2.5 gal.

Instructions say 2 drops per gallon (US) or 4 liters of water. Always put it in the bucket before hand.

Too much is better than not enough.

But don't think it will cycle the tank.

I'm guessing you got one of the bigger bottles that says "a cap full = ~50 gallons"?

If you don't have a clean dropper to use, you can put enough Prime into the tank to treat the entire tank volume (i.e. if you have a 50 gallon tank, put the caps worth of Prime into the tank) and Then add in the new water.

using it in a bucket is going to save you a lot of prime. i just add it to the tank but i am treating all the water so i use a lot more.

i put the water conditioner in the bucket before i add the water. that way, i know its mixed in really good.

wtih prime, you can overdose up to 5x

yeah...unfortunately never using this stuff before, i got the big bottle. I improvised....I used a straw but I don't think I put enough now that I think about it...I drop per gallon. doh!

Depending on what kind of straw you used it might be okay...the drops that come out of the smaller bottles aren't very big...if in doubt put a little extra in.

straw was just a regular ole drinking straw. so it was two drops per gallon using a smaller dropper...then the little one drops from the straw sounds like it will be ok.

Adding it to the tank would be alot easier, like posted i cap treats 50 gallons, it is nearly impossible to over dose unless the whole bottle gets poured in, in my case we have an 80 gal, i use 2 cap fulls, in our 20 and 29 we use 1 cap, anything smaller than that i would probably be a little more stringent on mesurments........

I use a 1cc syringe, but never concern myself with the precise minimum measurement. I always go over. The stuff is cheap!
