Protein skimmer okay ?

The guy that sold me this tank said I can install this protein skimmer inside my tank ? Is that correct ?

That sounds brackish to me... But I am too lazy to look it up.

With a brackish aquarium you would normally do regular, sizable water changes, like a freshwater aquarium.

Why would you want a protein skimmer in a lightly stocked tank, I just see 1 puffer?
It's mainly going to take up volume and being unsightly, like Doug said normal water changes is just fine for this tank.
