are prizm protein skimmers ( i believe that is what it was called) any good? My lfs has some there and it says good for up to 100 gallons so i was thinkin about using it on my 55

They make really good footballs.. 
Seriously, they are not good at all..i would not put one on a tank about 30gals, if at all...they are a real pita to get working..a little better if you get the surface skimmer attachment...and its only a "little" better..
