I have noticed prior to treating that the Ps. saulosi actively grouped together and appeared to act as cleaners for my other fish. The other fish at times seemed to solicit this behavior and would stay in place while the saulosi 'swarmed' them and appeared to pick off the ick spots. Once I began treatment (salt, increase temp) that this behavior ceased and saulosi went back to foraging and grazing.
Anyone else notice this type of behavior.
btw, I have had SW cleaner wrasse and the behavior of saulosi and the fish being cleaned was almost identical......weird
yep, tank now clear of ick and never again will I fall into buying petstore fish, even if the kids beg!!!
