Puffer looking bloated

Hello,
I'm new to the forums. Semi new to keeping fish.

I have a tank, 25g, w/ a community that my buddy built. He left the country and left it with me.
It has: 7 cories, 2 unknown fish(he didn't tell me the name), a pleco, 8 neon tetras, and a small 2" puffer - friend said it was brazilian puffer. Also, it is well planted.

anyhow. recently the puffer has become very aggressive. Nipping fins, and eating everthing in site. He has a very bloated looking belly. Any reason to be concerned?

I'm sure you'll get some good feedback from the more knowledgeable members, but I thought I'd try to help a bit. I really really wanted a puffer, so I've done a lot of research on them and I've decided they're not for me, since I want to keep a wide variety of other fish.

Puffers are aggressive and most people I've seen on here post about them say they need to be in a tank by themselves. Your puffer may just now be growing big enough to start eating everyone else. If he's a South American Puffer, he will grow to 5.5", according to this site, and he'll soon be too big for a 25 gallon tank. I'm sure the neons are on his menu.
