Puntius denisonii

yep, I love P. denisonii too. I wouldn't keep them in much less than a 4 ft tank but I really liked them. Not nippy like some (many) barbs, beautiful shoalers...but a tiny bit nervous in a jumping way. Keep, at very least, 5 for a wonderful tank addition.

LOVE them! Have always loved them, so glad I got a great deal from Mgamer2o00 and have enjoyed owning them for so many years now. Because there is no way I would pay $30 a piece for them ever! lol

I agree completely fishorama!! Never less than 4ft, no less then 5 (I'd go even higher though but we all know I have a problem with large schools lol), not nippy at all but quite jumpy (they get scared SO easily but at the same time are very active and always out in the open). Mine eat from my fingers, it's great! Just recently down to 4 though, not happy about that but old age gets everyone eventually. And I can tell a difference in their behavior with a smaller school, they get scared more easily for sure. Tempted to bolster their numbers back up....but that's a dangerous spiral. lol

myswtsins myswtsins : yeah, we all kinow that slippery slope. if they'd be happier with 2 more, they'd be happier still with 4. maybe 6. i think 8 will fit . . . 10?

Ok yes, 10 more it is!! ;)

Someone in my plant club says they nibble on dying bba, so not just beautiful fish!

Yes, Jen, get more! The oldsters can teach the new guys handfeeding. Slip down that dangerous slope :)
