this is another canidate for my 6.6 gallon... anyone know about it? im wondering how "purple" it actually is? its my wifes choice... but i think it might be kinda cool...

I think you're referring to the Inpaichthys kerri which has an adipose fin compared to the Nematobrycon palmeri.
Nice fish but a 15g would be the minimum tank size I would recommend I'm afraid.
