Hi - I am new to this and was wondering wat is pvc tubing in fish tank? pics would be really nice

5 danios
2 leopard
3 zebras
2 daffodill cichlid
1 blood parrot
i know im over stocked and will be saying goodbye to the parrot in about 2 weeks to a very good home. thanks

Go to your local home improvement store and ask them where the PVC pipes and fittings are. Picture what you see there in a fish tank. Done.

It's in there for the fish to:

a) swim through

and

b) provide a hiding place(s)

You can do the same thing with driftwood, rocks and (preferably not IMO, for asthetical reasons) fake decor.

Put it anywere in the tank where you want it excpet someplace where a fish would have trouble getting out of it.

mate dont bother they are ugly, you can get pvc tubes that are disguised as bamboo etc... Others will disagree i know...

They're very functional, especially if you have timid or nocturnal fish, but they are very ugly as Flagfish said.
