python extension

Yes. The python kit even comes with the right kind of garden hose/faucet connector you would need.

Yup, we have and it works well, we have a 75g in the upstairs master bedroom and 3 tanks in the basement family room, with the kitchen tap/sink on the main floor so a garden hose was necessary. We used standard hose connectors that we purchased in the garden center of Canadian Tire.

I used clear acrylic tubing from Home Depot. If you go that route consider the tube wall thickness. The connectors were a little tight for the thickness I got but I made it work.

Some would probably add the ol' "make sure the hose is safe for drinking water' line. I can't imagine infrequent use would be a big problem but there are many things I do on my tanks that people would well... thats a different thread

can you put a regular garden hose as the extension to the python? from the looks of it it may be possible. Has anyone tried this?

yes the fitting is the same.

when I repair my python I just use parts from the garden ctr.
