well, my dad decided to put a new faucet in my bathroom. I figured out that the 25 ft python water changer would work, found one on here, and purchased it. When i got it in, i was all excited to try it out. I went to the faucet and found out that the new faucet was a wierd size. So, my dad and i went to Home Depot, got some tubing (i dont remember what id it was, somewhere around 3/4), and two hose clamps. Put the hose onto the brass faucet adapter, and the other end on the faucet. Clamp it down, and change water.

I attached some pictures in case anybody else has had this problem.

hehe neccesity is the mother of invention

yes it is. And this is twenty thousand times better than carrying buckets of water back and forth

stratus you see my sig? lol ive said many times without my python i wouldnt have anything bigger than a 5 gal tank... i do 50% changes on those tanks at least once a week. no way i'd do it with buckets

This is an easy swap. take out the chrome spout and replace with this

You'll have to cap off the shower head but that just takes a sec.
The tub has the strongest flow in my house and makes my python rock
total cost for parts was <$10.

me too. And now that i have this, i WILL be doing weekly water changes, and not biweekly water changes. IT makes it so simple. Any one know of a good way to dry it out though?

This is sheer brilliance! I stand in absolute awe! Did you invent beer?

jimL, are you sure your not in south carolina? thats some redneck engineering if i ever saw some

So... you put tap water in the tank (with fish)... THEN pour in the prime?

I've always treated the water (in 5 gal buckets) PRIOR to pouring it in the tank. My tap water has a pretty high chlorine content... smells like pool water some days :)
