question about fry

I had to move my guppies fry with their mothers to a 10g tank where my goldies were (i moved the goldies to another tank). The thing is, this tank doesnt have a heater, but the temp in my house is 80F. It usually stays between 76 and 78 during the day, but at night sometimes it drops to 74F. Do you think they'll be Ok in this temperature till tomorrow?

Also, I have 4 ghost shrimp in this tank as well. Is it danger to the fry?
 
It should be ok just keep it covered at night.
The fry will get eaten any way so get them a breeeder trap.
As for the shrikp yes any fish will eat fry even the mothers.
 
Those temps are fine or guppies, but fish actually do prefer a constant temperature to one that fluctuates. I would actually encourage you to add a heater. Also, Flagfish is correct, the fry no longer need their mother as she will eat them and the fry don't need her for anything like nursing or teaching. Finally, Ghost shrimp are pretty efficient little fry-eaters. Mine were especially adept at catching molly fry and woofing them down bite by bite. Not a good way to go.
 
yeah im going to move the ghost shrimp then... but the mothers, the reason i put them in there too is because i cant let them be with the males anymore.. they look like they are going to burst! i dont need more babies!! i already dont know what im going to do with the ones i have now!

im adding a heater, although it's morning here now and the tank's temp is 78F. Thanks!
 
The simple solution is to leave the fry in the community tank and let nature take its course and the fry become food.
 
harlock, they had been in the community tank for a couple of weeks and my fish couldnt care less! i saw them growing and growing while the mothers wouldnt stop spawning. Maybe the shrimp will take care of it then... i hate to say it, but i really dont have any space left!
