I just put in some red macro algae for my refugium. What should I do to ensure the growth of this algae can flourish? What kind or how much lighting should it take to keep it healthy?
between 2 and 5 w/g but that depends on what kind, the reds typically need less light. also calciumis good for them and nitrates, which there will be plenty of.
