Question about sand aquarium

I recently set up a 120g tank with sand and added two Odyssea 500's. The outputs are pointed just enough to create ripples at the surface. Will this be enough aeration for the fish or should I get some kind of powerhead or something else? I've always used powerheads with UGF. Not sure how to use them in a sand tank. Is there a different kind than the ones used with UGFs? Also, I plan on this being a planted tank soon.

that should be enough surface agitation for the fish and the plants will also help oxygenate the water aswell

should be enough just keep a eye on the fish.
