Question About Water Conditioner

I quit reading when I saw all the caps, its stressful on the eyes. I don't know why, but it is.

Well, since you were wondering... My understanding is that when we read we aren't looking at each individual letter in a word, but the whole shape of the word. If everything is in all caps it makes word recognition more difficult, and so it takes more time and effort to read. The same goes if each word in a sentence is capitalized.

I think this thread turned into how to not use caps lock instead of my water conditioner? i just added the amquel + that i just bought and the water looks clearer than it did with stress coat and my fish seem to be swimming around more than except for one he stays in one spot for a very very long time and doesnt swim with the rest of them. im not sure if them moving around more is good because they seem to attack eachother more and they stay seperated more now?

My guess is that we are just so used to all lowercase that it takes the brain more effort to decipher capital letters making it just harder to read.

I know I'm just continuing the hijack of the thread (sorry), but here is an interesting web page that talks about legibility. It touches on more than just the upper case vs. lower case issue...there are a number of factors that affect legibility. :) http://www.tomontheweb2.ca/CMX/4D5E2/

Sounds like the conditioner makes a difference. :) Regarding the fish that isn't swimming, if you tank is still cycling, you may be seeing health issues to due exposure to ammonia or nitrite.
