In starting my new 20gal., I know I will soon have to do partial water changes. (getting a Python in a few days) when conditioning replacement water, is there an all-in-one conditioner anyone would recommend?

Thanks again for your fantastic advice!

Chloram-X

SeaChem prime is a good product but if you can find Chloram-X its much better.

1 teaspoon treats 41.5g of water for chlorine AND chloramine and leaves no ammonia behind.

I bought half a kilogram for 15dollars canadian. I change only 20gallons of water per week but i did some math and it'll last almost 4 years.

Gotta use PRIME!!

Amquel can have some negative effects in soft water - which is why they had to come up with variation on the theme. Prime is simpler and cheaper and no pronlems have been reported, so I no longer suggest Amquel for general advice/use.

Looks like I'll go with PRIME. Thanks again for all the input!
