if its mineral related try vinegar. most on my local grocery were 5% acid but one bottle was 9% so i bought that one. warm it up a little. took all the scale out of my tank quite quickly.

Yea, whenever you get a new tank or setting up an old one, you should put some warm water in a bucket with a little bit of viniger and wipe off the insides.

thanx guys. cleaned out the tank with some vinegar, and warm water, scrubbed the inside with a cloth towel, then rinsed it out with some water. i set the tank up, put about a quarter of the water in, and stired it around, then took out half of it, then filled it up. the tank looks great. thanx alot guys :)
