Questions..................

Currently I have-

10 gallon (molly breeding tank)-
-6 mollies (2m4f)
-one male fancy guppy
-1 chinese algae eaters

30 gallon-
-one crayfish (4 inches)
-one small common pleco
-2 feeder 1 ½” goldfish

-each aquarium has whisper filters, gravel, fake plants, heaters, thermometers, airstones, lines and pumps, and some decorations
-i also have a 2 in 1 breeder trap (but I heard that mollies dont do well in small spaces.) tell me info on breeding tips with them


questions-
1. will a 4 inch crayfish eat mollies that are full grown and/or babies?
2. what should I do about breeding the mollies, can I put the breeder trap in the large 30 gallon and when the mom is done with giving birth put her back in the 10 gallon and release the babies in the 30 gallon for the crayfish? (that way I wont run into an overcrowding issue with the 10 gallon)
3. since the 1 CAE are going to go carnivorous ill put them in the 30 gallon to help the crayfish eat the dead remains of feeder fish and frozen krill, is this going to work.
4. what fish would work for algae/waste management in a 10 gallon I don’t want to many cuz then I will have overcrowding.
5. could mollies and feeder goldfish eat live ants as a treat?

and i am going to return the common pleco due to its maximum size but i need ideas for a different pleco that would work

p.s. random question have u heard of petco, petsmart or any other pet store that deals with fish, buying fish from normal people that have extras after a birth (Marble or Dalmatian Mollies to be exact), how much would they give me per fish and how mature do they have to be before they will buy them?

Didn't you already post this like a day or two ago? Only last time you reported 5 feeder goldfish in the aquarium. Whats going on?

the feeders have died cept for 2 and i am down to one CAE
and one mollie is very pregnant compared to the other 3 females

From what I have read on these forums a crayfish will eat whatever it can get its claws on. They are not fussy and are very strong.

Goldfish are herbavores so ants are not a great idea, IMO.

You don't need an algae eater in the 10 gallon. Just make sure to do lots of water changes to get teh nutrient levells down and use a magnetic tank cleaner to keep the front and sides clean. Most algae eaters get way too big for a 10 gallon and each additional fish means more waste for the algae to grow.

Actually, Goldfish are Omnivores eating protein and plant matter. When they are younger (1-3 years) it is recommended that they have regular (fairly high) amounts of protein in their diet to promote healthy growth/colors. After the goldfish get older and mature, they need less protein but they should never be fed as strict herbavores.

yea because when I drop in a frozen krill for the cayfish the goldfish try to eat it before it gets to the bottom (and sometimes get little chunks), so they are deffenitly not strictly veggie eaters
