Quick question

Take the hamsters out first.

No real need. Squirrels have little diving suits (Sandy Cheeks, Spongebob anyone?) ... So I figure that Hamsters have comparable technology at their disposal.

I'd inspect the sealant well to ensure it hasn't been gnawed on and end up causing leaks. Also, I have read of folks blaming the urine soaked sealant as issues.

Yeah definitely, I had a hamster in a 20 gallon and he chewed at the sealant and his pee spot was on one of the corners.

if i did that to her hampsters, even tho i have asked her many times if i could let them play with my oscar but she says
no.
