Are there powerheads available that I can attach to each end of my tank to move the water and help put oxygen into the water without having and undergravel fliter? (I know it is kind of a weird question but just wondering :))

Yes, there are many ,many power heads that you can mount on the tank glass. I wouldn't use an ugf in a marine tank under any circumstance.

i have a 55 gallon tank w/ a inside the tank mounted powerhead my fish and my corals seem to really love it i did go and buy the one that was rated for a bigger tank then skimp out and buy the cheap one the lfs guys were tellin me that you need 5-10 turnover of water an hour i dont know how acurate that is but just somethin to mull over and as far as undergravel filter dont do it use the live rock and like the other guy said crushed coral sux but good luck to all have a great day :shark:

Hello Travis welcome to A.C.
That's some pretty good advice you gave on the ugf. Your lfs is wrong though you should have at the very least 10x per hour turn over for fish and 15-20x per hour for corals.
have a good one
