quiet air pump

i wanna put an air pump in my room but i cannot stand the buzzing sound anybody know of a truly quiet air pump

do you want it for the looks? you may or prob dont need one. most tanks get plenty of surface agitation.

29 gallon goldfish tank wanna put an airstone or a bubble wand...fish seem like they struggle to breathe.. does the whisper make a noise

you can also put it in a padded box so it muffles the sound.

I am super picky about air pump noise.....and had maybe about 10 air pumps but never really happy with them.. not even wisper and rena pumps..found Tom air pump that is very quiet and almost no vibrations, fair price too.....try it you will like it.... or you can try the coralife Luft pump, very quiet too but cost a lot more...^_^

ps. wisper 20 is much quieter than the 60 if you are going for wisper pumps

Yes the smaller version should be quieter, the 60 is fairly quiet probably a lttle more than you need...

What about those Hydor Pumps that you can fully submerse apparently there is next to no noise at all.
