I feel like I haven't posted in forever. This past week has been the most frusturating, rewarding, chaotic day of my life so far lol! On monday I woke up at 6:00 to my hamster chewing his way out from under the door. His cage is in a ventilated closet to muffle noises. he had chewed his way out the top, chewed a hole in the reptile bedding bag, and chewed a giant hole in the carpet trying to get out from under the closet door. I caught him in the act and put him back where he belongs thankfully.
Today was the day I was going to prepare my 20 gallon for a pacman frog. It was an empty fish tank used for convict breeding. So over the next 4 hours, I emptied the water, gravel, decor, cleaned it and dried. I bought some expandable coconut bedding but I expanded it wrong and made a huge mess. I fixed that problem and setup the tank. it was the ugliest thing I had ever seen. I was frusterated so I went downstairs and watched "House" for an hour. (BTW I had gotten my firebelly toad for my 10 gallon today also) I come back upstairs and see the ugliness so I go check on my new toad......who is now non-existant in the tank!:eek3:I freak and start scouring and destroying my room looking for him. I found him almost about to leave my room by the door. i caught him and sealed the tank more securely. I turn aroung and the ugliness of the pacman tank is staring at me. So I disassemble the WHOLE thing and think of what to do. I decide to put my Dumpy Tree Frog in there and end the problem.
I have to say now the tank looks great and I am a happy person. But jeez, did it take a while to get here.
*SIGH* Anybody have days like this? lol!
