Rainbow Cichlid

The smallest are too small for the 75g which is why I thought about splitting them. This helps though. Thank you!

I just pulled 20 fry she had a couple hundred the other night and when i went out today i actually caught the dad in the act of darting over and eating fry as i approached the tank seems to me that when i approach he thinks i am feeding and he snatches the fry up as food.. The fry are in a net breeder now..

Hey Mike, could I talk you into a FTS when they don't have fry?

Another question, do you think they'd be ok with platies or would a tetra species be better?

Here is a video of them..

As for other species Platies or Tetras should be fine as long as they have an escape route..

Thanks again, Mike. You've been a great help. I'm so excited about this, I can't stand it! Haha.

I have several juvies I ordered on aquabid, currently growing out in a 6 gallon qt tank. My guys are pretty skittish and timid so far, and hang at the bottom, but man, when I feed them flakes they zip up to the mid waters and gobble down huge pieces whole.
I'm planning to put them in a tank with a school of Cardinal Tetras. Hopefully they will coexist peacefully.
