rainbows- are they schooling fish?

i was at the LFS the other day saw forktail and thread fins
are they schooling fish? and are the active?

Rainbows should be kept in schools, they are active and I love them.

I bought 5 a month and a half ago. They are very active, fun to watch. Very hardy, took a couple of days to start eating well and you have to powder their food because their throats are teeny. Love these fish.

most varieties get fairly large- and i think i've heard Roan Art say they have to be in minimum groups of 6 so make sure your tank has room

Six min, ten is better, more than that is best.
