Frozen/thawed brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and bloodworms. (I feed 2times/day). They get the frozen in the afternoon, in the morning they get New Life Cichlid pellets which sink...
Hope this helps. Oh, I also feed live grindal and white worms.

Couple of questions first.

1. What kind of rams do you have?
2. What are you feeding them?

I actually feed my Bolivians sinking African cichlid food. They'll come to the surface and eat flake food or bloodworms too. Sometimes I've noticed they will eat it then "chew", spit it out to soften it up (I'm guessing). Then consume it shortly-there-after.

I have these algae wafers which are for my algae eaters but the rams eat that too.One just sits in the plants and waits until theres a food he likes.IM scared he mite die of hunger.

I feed my Rams flake in the morning (they come to the top to feed) and then feed them a frozen food (brine shrimp or bloodworms) every other night and then the nights I don't feed frozen, I feed freeze dried foods (bloodworms, shrimp, daphnia, tubifex).

My Rams grab, then chew, then spit out, then repeat, then repeat again, and then finally eat it. LOL

my rams are pigs! they have flake in the morning, and frozen brine shrimp 3 days a week, and blood worms 2 days a week getting some krill for them today. They refuse to eat any pellet, or cichlid food,.

I feed mine HBH Super Soft krill pellets, tetramin flakes, and they love frozen bloodworms.Mine feed mostly off the bottom.Mine also spit, and suck it right back in.
