chris ever so wondering wife

Personally, I would not move the glob of eggs. When they are born, move the babies to whichever tank you want, as long as the parameters are the same they should do fine. I have red ramshorn snails and I honestly cannot tell you the gestation... I started with 5 and now a few months later have lots more... I see the egg globs (I remove most of them when I see them) and the little snails seem to grow quickly. sorry to not be of more help.

The only way I would move them is if they are attached to some object you can transfer. If they are stuck to the glass or permanent decor, I would wait. The babies will dissapear into the subtrate quickly when hatched, and re-emerge randomly as they grow. As far as gestation I have no idea, my snails breed quickly but I've not actually tracked the time from initial egg deposit to hatch.

well they are on a tank seperator so i can easily move the object, do you think htey are allright out of the water for a minute or two? also would the water change affect them? i don't need to know the exact gestation even if some one has a guess it would help tons

Do not be concerned. If you have some eggs you will have more. Soon you will have lots of rams horns.
