Hello Everyone,
First off, I am soooo glad spring is finally here
We had our first snow in October, we had two foot of snow before Thanksgiving, we had one week where we got close to three foot of snow and we have been in the deep freeze almost all winter (I have been ready for some serious global warming). The sun was shinning today and the temp was almost 70-degrees. Where is the smiley with the big sigh of relief
In between my springtime happy dances, I decided to take some random pics today. Hope you like....
Couple pics from my 125 gallon Tanganyika community tank
The rest of the pics are from my 265 gallon c. gibberosa kapmapa tank. These wigglers are my most recent batch of F1 kapampa fry. Had another batch that graduated, yesterday, to the floating nursery in the 20L.
I love my kaps color when the sun is shining in; unfortunately, I have not mastered taking pictures in those conditions and dealing with the glare/reflections. I am not crazy about these pics, but they do give a "hint" at the beautiful zaire blues my kaps have (without the flash). The pictures still don't do them justice.
My alpha male
My beta male
One of my females
BTW: this is an older pic, with the flash, of the mom of the wigglers in the tumbler. She's one of my favorites (here name is Myrtle, actually,... fertile Myrtle):
