? re: driftwood types

Hey all I thought I was picking up mopani driftwood and ended up getting a piece of grapewood driftwood instead. Welllll I can't find anything about using it in Aquariums just in cages etc for lizards and such. Anyone have ever used this type in their aquarium? If not I can bring it back but It is a cool lookin piece so I wouldn't mind keeping it.

I'm pretty sure it's aquarium safe...not 100% sure though...

Grapewood is not suitable for aquariums. Take it back and get the Mopani.

Grapewood will rot and rapidly foul your water.

Never worked for me. They floated for months (which actually looked quite interesting) and developed that white mold.
